A really welcome pop of colour in the garden today from a Primula Denticulata, otherwise know as a Drumstick Primula.
Primula are herbaceous or semi-evergreen perennials, forming a rosette of simple leaves at the bottom, with flowers carried on an erect stem. They grow up to about to 30cm high and 1.8cm in width and also come in white, pale or deep purple for a splash of spring colour.
I’m going to leave them to hopefully, self-seed when they are done flowering to see if I can have more pops of lovely, spring colour everywhere next year!
